Family Time in Corsicana

Baby Breydon was born the beginning of May so we got to drive down to Corsicana and visit them in the hospital. Russell was thrilled to meet his little cousin... or maybe he was just excited that Breydon had cool balloons in his room.

Then a month later we got to go down and visit again. My mom, dad, Beth, and Mikesell grandparents were all in town for Breydon's blessing. The first night we spent all together in Weirich's house. I was super nervous because Russell had been sleeping terribly and screaming his head off in the middle of the night. Luckily he wasn't too bad. Brian said they only heard him once and Breydon was up screaming too. A cousin duet!

The next night we got to sleep at a hotel. Russell's first time! Best part about the hotel was it had a pool! Russell had never been swimming before, but he loves tubs so we figured he would love a pool. We were so right. He was kicking and splashing and having the time of his life! He would have been happy to stay in the water forever. He is a little fish boy. Lucky for him, my family had another hotel stay a few days later with a pool.

It was a fun weekend. We got lots of family time. We ate lots of delicious food. Kenna needs to have more babies so we can do it again! ;)
