Christmas

This year we had Christmas in Texas. This was very convenient since we had to move there anyways in December!

Russell had a pretty fantastic 1st Christmas. Not only did he have all his Koford aunts and uncles in the house with him, but he had a bonus aunt too!

We also had a very special visitor show up Christmas morning to hand deliver more presents!

Russell wasn't quite sure what to think, but he didn't scream! Success!!

We were very blessed this year and got lots of great presents! Russell was very invested in the process. 

Maybe next year he will stay awake for more of the activities!

3 Months

Some cool dude is now 3 months old!

This month he is:

• Almost 24 inches and 13 pounds- still on the small side, but what do you expect. 

•Wearing clothes size 0-3 months. All the newborns have been put in storage.

•Small but strong! He can support his weight on his legs and loves standing! He's even pushed himself up into standing position with little help.

•Sweet, happy, smiling guy most of the time. He is happiest when people are paying attention to him. 

•With the move to Texas he graduated from his cradle into a crib. Now he has much more room to wiggle in!

•Still hates tummy time. We can only go a minute or two before the screaming starts. 

•He has turned into quite the chatter box this month. We have moved from little cooing to banshee shrieking. He responds well to monkey noises and random babbling. 

•Tongues are very interesting! He loves when you stick your tongue out and he tries his darnedest to copy you! 

•Sleep and Russell are still two things that don't go well together still. He is the king of 30 minute cat naps, which would be fine if he woke up happy but he is still tired! He also has decided that he can't just go to sleep on his own after night feelings anymore. But luckily he is sleeping in 4 to 4 hours stretches at night most of the time. 

•He is still a burrito during naps and at night. He will wake himself up with his hands still!

We are very blessed with a pretty mellow happy baby!
