9~Nine~9

Nine months means that we got to go to the doctor and get some official measurements... Apparently I am not very good at taking unofficial measurements because I wasn't expecting these small numbers!

At nine months Russell is:
16lbs 7oz- 2nd percentile
27.25 inches- 16th percentile

Don't worry though, his head circumference is still in the 89th percentile! He is just a very slow and steady grower.

What he lacks in height and weight, he makes up in personality. He is quite the little guy. Now that he can successfully army crawl around, he is exploring his world! He still makes lots of funny noises to entertain us. He will even sometimes join in singing with us. His favorite song is "Old McDonald" or "Old McRussell" as we sing it. He has discovered the door-stoppers on the wall and fun sound they make when you play with them. Remotes are also fun toys, especially changing the channel from what Aunt Ashee is watching. This is such a fun age!

  1. Doorstops are the BEST! Grandma Robin has some nice, heavy duty ones :)
