We had never been to the Fort Worth Zoo before. Russell was supposed to go on the field trip there, but it was raining the day we had it planned. We decided to go just the three of us on their half-price Wednesdays before it got too hot. We had a great time! We stayed way longer than I anticipated and we didn't even see all of it!

Russell wanted to cuddle with Audrey
Russell was learning to swim pretty far
Sunday naps are the best- even during Primary
My morning swim lessons buddy
Learning that crawling on wood is harder than
on carpet
We were having cooler than normal weather, which was
amazing except that the pool water in the morning was
very cold. Russell spent a lot of time shivering and trying to
keep warm
Audrey and Zoey seem to like the same toys
Big brothers can be helpful at times
Playing some baseball- our baseman kept
crawling away
She's decided tubs are pleasant now that she
can sit and doesn't have to be laying on her back
Checking out our future backyard!
Went to see Ashee in Les Miserables. She was amazing, of course
One last walk around the neighborhood before
we move
Had to stop by the garden one more time
Waiting to buy a house!
Both a bit unsure about the new house and
moving around on the wood floors
Russell has a new job- dark wood and light dog hair
is terrible combination
Russell wanted to stop by our old house and say
goodbye again
Big girl feeding herself
Testing out her chair for vacation
Ham Orchard Adventure
June 1, 2019
I thought it would be fun to try something new one weekend. We drove out to this peach orchard that several of my friends have been going to every year. It was definitely a bit of a drive to get there, and man was it a popular place! They had a cute little store with lots of fresh produce and homemade jams, salsas and desserts, but it was way too crowded to really get a good look around. They had a blackberry patch that you could pick your own to take home. We weren't sure we were going to do that, especially since I'm the only one who eats them, but once Russell learned that you could he was super excited to participate. He was concerned we were taking too long getting our bucket and all the berries would be gone! After picking berries in the sun, we cooled off with their homemade strawberry and peach ice cream. It was a winner with all four of us! Audrey did break out in a small rash after eating it. We aren't quite sure which ingredient was the cause, but it didn't last long.
He was very good at finding the ripe ones
Audrey was pretty good too
He would have spent forever finding every
ripe one in the patch if we had let him
She liked it so much that she kept trying
to feed it to herself faster than I was
