One Year Older & Wiser Too

Stephen turned the big 25 this year! His birthday was on a Sunday so we couldn't party too hard. He did get lots of sweet presents! For his early birthday celebration his parents watched Russell and we went to see the new Avengers at Alamo Drafthouse. It was the first movie I've seen in the theater since Russell was born and it didn't disappoint! Birthday Success!

Dallas Zoo Adventure

Once upon a time, my sister Kenna was brave and wanted to go out and do something with her new baby. Since we live nearby, we got to join in on the fun! We had a trip to the zoo, just like we did a year ago. But now instead of a pregnant Marah and Ashyln, we had a Russell and Breydon! With all the rain we had been having, we were lucky to have a day of sunshine and not too much heat and humidity. We got to see lots of animals wandering around their areas. I think they were happy to have a break from the rain as well. It was fun to see Adleigh react to all the animals. Russell was entertained, but still a little too young. He liked the Children's Zoo part the best. He got to pet goats and pull their ears, and best of all, splash in the water area!! Sadly I didn't get any pictures of the splashing because I was in the water with him, but he enjoyed himself and had to do a complete wardrobe change after!

TINY BUT TOUGH Monkey at 7 Months

Gained some weight this month!! Up to a whole 17 lbs and 27 inches. Still just a little guy!
